List of Equitel Mobile Number Prefixes

Equitel is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that run on the Airtel Kenya network. The brand is run by Finserve Africa Limited, which is a subsidiary of the Equity Group Holdings.

The operator primarily caters to customers of Equity Bank, allowing them to seamlessly manage their bank accounts while accessing the usual mobile services of call, SMS and internet.

Some of the bank operations that customers can access on their Equitel lines include checking bank balances, money transfer, cash withdrawal at ATMs without using a card and access to the bank’s EazzyLoan facility.

The network also supports Thin-SIM technology which allows customers without access to multiple or dual SIM devices to overlay the Equitel Thin-SIM onto an ordinary SIM card of another network. The subscriber can then switch between the two SIMs to access their services.
